Suspension

Honours
The governing body of the Department, School or Faculty in which the awardee is enrolled may approve a suspension of the Honours Scholarship if a suspension of enrolment has been approved because of illness or other unavoidable and exceptional circumstances. Applications for suspension must in the first instance be submitted to the Board of the Parker Centre in writing, through the Education Program Manager.

PhD
If PhD students are unable to pursue the degree, they must seek approval in the first instance from their supervisor for a period of suspension. Such applications will be considered by the Board of the Parker Centre. Students may apply for up to twelve months' suspension during the tenure of the Scholarship. The University and the Parker Centre will not normally approve suspensions earlier than six months after commencement of candidature.
