Seminars, Courses and Workshops
for Industry Professionals/Parker Centre Researchers

The continuing education program services the needs of mineral processing companies which use hydrometallurgy. Often, however, the courses presented are also of value to the Parker Centre's researchers. In many cases, world experts, who have been attracted as visitors to the Centre, are utilised as presenters of these courses in collaboration with experts from within the Centre.

The form of the continuing education program ranges from seminars by distinguished visitors, which might be relevant to only one sector of the industry, through to multi-day courses and conferences on very broad topics.

The Parker Centre has offered 47 continuing education courses to industry professionals between 1992 and 2003. The courses have covered a wide range of industrially important hydrometallurgical topics.
