"I am now employed as a Research Fellow within the Centre for Sustainable Resource Processing in Perth. I work specifically on research into inorganic polymer materials, which are usually of an aluminosilicate nature.

Our group is currently producing inorganic polymers from silica-bearing waste streams derived from the Kwinana region. The basic science involved in studying these materials can be quite challenging due to their mostly amorphous nature. This role extends me from my previous work on crystalline materials and is expanding my analytical skills."
