Honours, MSc and PhD Scholarships

The Role of the Parker Centre and Value to Students
The utilisation of many of Australia's valuable mineral resources depends on our ability to efficiently and economically extract metals and metallic compounds such as alumina, gold, nickel, cobalt, copper and zinc using advanced hydrometallurgical processing methods. The Parker Centre is actively involved at the forefront of exciting developments in improving these extraction processes, while minimising their environmental impacts.

The Parker Centre invites outstanding science and engineering students to apply for research scholarships for PhD, MSc and Honours (4th year) degrees.

Who is eligible to apply for a Parker Centre Scholarship?
Students should have a background in (applied) chemistry, physics, extractive metallurgy, mineral science, engineering (chemical, process or metallurgical) or biotechnology.

The scholarships are open to all Australian citizens and permanent residents. The scholarships are valid at Curtin University of Technology (Perth, WA), Murdoch University (Perth, WA) and the University of Queensland (Brisbane). Students may apply for scholarships at any time, but scholarship availability will depend on resources.

Please fill in the scholarship application form (available below) and forward your CV, a copy of your academic record and a letter of recommendation from your supervisor with the completed application form to the address below.
