Dr Elizabeth Ho In July 2001, Dr Elizabeth Ho wrote: "After two and a half years working for Intec Ltd on a chloride process for base metals, I joined the Environment Division of ANSTO (Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation) in Sydney as a research scientist. Currently, most of my time is spent on the Cleaner Technology for Uranium Mining and Milling project. This project has the aim of investigating and developing technologies that will lead to more environmentally sustainable operations in the uranium mining sector. My work involves some fundamental investigations into oxidant consumption and gangue dissolution during leaching and also water treatment at Australia's uranium mines. I have had the opportunity to operate a water treatment pilot plant and assist in troubleshooting work on-site for the uranium industry."
